About this page

Banffshire Maritime & Heritage Association were often asked if they could provide information on old fishing boats and whilst they tried to help, with limited resources, it was not always possible. They did not have their own premises and and therefore creating, holding and archiving files was virtually impossible. This page was created in an effort to help with requests for information. It is hoped that, given even more limited resources, assistance will be provided if possible

How will it work?

The aim is that anyone requesting information allows us to display the request on this page. A photo is always helpful. No personal details will be added and any information that comes to light will be passed on to the requester. Anyone replying to requests and providing information can rest assured that their personal details will not be published but the information they provide may well be, subject to agreement/approval

Can you help?
