Aims of The Association as per our Constitution
- To preserve and display artefacts and items of interest relating to the maritime heritage in the Banffshire coastal area.
- To promote and raise awareness of the importance of our maritime heritage through exhibitions, events lectures, demonstrations and other relevant avenues.
- To provide information, training or education relating to the maritime environment and heritage in the area.
- To perpetuate the skills and craftsmanship of traditional boat building in the theory and practice by practical demonstrations and education.
- To preserve the practical skills of rope and net repair through demonstration and education.
