    Banffshire Harbours

The county of Banff (Banffshire) was in 1975 split between Aberdeenshire and Moray, with each new county receiving approximately half of Banffshire.

The coastline of Banffshire prior to 1975 stretched from Portgordon in the west to Cullykhan Beach just west of Pennan in the east.  Along this 32 mile stretch of coast there are fourteen harbours, fifteen if you include Pennan.

We will now travel along the Moray Firth Coast from west to east and visit every one of them.
